We are excited that we can share with you the log home projects that are currently being constructed on our building site in Walker, MN and then to be able to follow the projects through completion at each homeowner’s site. Depending on each homeowner’s schedule, some homes are completed within months, and for others, they are finished over many years.

ONSITE:

Memories are in the making with the building of Immanuel!  Family gatherings and living life to it’s fullest begins at home. Tucked away on a secluded spring fed lake, mornings on the deck will be cherished soaking in the beautiful tree lined lakeshore and crystal clear lake. The plan for Immanuel provides the owners to age in place, while also having plenty of room for family and friends.  The main floor has 1,344 square feet that is an L shape, with an attached framed breezeway and garage.  The log King Truss in the covered porch entryway will reflect the lofted truss windows and make a magnificent entrance.  The entryway brings you into the open floor design of the kitchen with it’s seated island and the great room with split stone fireplace.  An interior log wall separates the great room and the master bedroom with a walk in closet and spacious bathroom with a separate walk in shower and a whirlpool tub.  A log archway off the kitchen leads to the framed breeze way with the laundry room, half bath and pantry – this opens to the garage.

The lofted area opens below to the great room and has two dormered bedrooms that each have a walk out balcony, full bathroom and living area. The 12 x 12 roof pitch makes the house taller and allows for more head room in the loft, giving it a more open feel.  The walk out basement towards the lake will mostly be unfinished, but over time will have a large family room, two bedrooms, full bathroom and exercise room.  The mechanical room is located under the breezeway, as is the future hot tub room.

Pinecone Cabin will be the the perfect place to relax at and soak in nature.  This well designed, e

fficient 26 x 30 square foot cabin packs a lot of living space.  Everything one needs is all on one level.  The main floor has a large bedroom with a walk in closet, and full bathroom with a stackable washer and dryer.  The Entryway brings you into the open floor plan of the kitchen with an island and spacious great room with the free standing wood burning fireplace.  The loft has a dormered bedroom, full bathroom, framed storage are and open to the great room below. Extra height and space is created with the 12 x 12 pitched roof system.  The basement is a crawl space to house the mechanical components for the log home.  Log Shell started on October 31, 2022. Completed onsite March 30th, 2023.

 

 

OFF SITE:

Memories are in the making at Burt’s Point. Pristine white pine were harvested last winter, debarked and set on bunks to air dry for one year. Freshly peeled logs are being set that when the log home is completed, will weather all that nature sends her way. This handcrafted log home is 38′ x 52′ with 1,976 sq. feet on the main floor, along with 926 sq. feet in the the loft and fully finished basement. The covered log entryway leads you past the mudroom with washer and dryer and half bath past the master bedroom suite with full bathroom and another full bath. The log arch way carved into the interior log wall opens up the the kitchen with center island for, large dining area and open to the great room. Natural light is important, and the view from inside the home will be as breath taking as it will be on the deck. The loft boosts two large dormered bedrooms, walking closet, full bathroom and open loft section overlooking the great room and kitchen. The natural stone exterior of the walkout basement will compliment the log work nicely. The basement has two bedrooms with walk-in closets, a full bathroom and mechanical room. There is a full kitchen with center, a large family room with a wet bar and billiard area for entertaining. Log shell started on November 30, 2022. Completed February 17th, and Reassembled on March March 13th, 2023.

 

The Bearskin is the perfect place to reset one’s senses with the beauty of the woods and water. This cozy log cabin is 24 ft by 24 ft. with 576 square feet on the main floor; full utilized loft and basement. This open floorplan starts upon entering the kitchen which flows into the dining area and living area with it’s corner fireplace. Large windows surround the living and dining area taking in the lakeview and leads one out to the large covered porch. There is a full bathroom on the main floor. The two large dormers in the loft create a full second story for the master bedroom and half bath. There is a covered balcony facing the lake. This log home is built on a full basement with a large family room, mechanical and laundry room and storage area.  Construction started on July 22, 2022.  Completed on site October 24, 2022.  Reassembled January 3, 2023.

 

Haugen’s Log Home is 32 sq. ft. by 42 sq. feet with 1,344 square feet on the main floor, full basement and has a large loft with a total of 3,250 square feet. This live to stay plan has all you need on the main floor. Natural lighting fills pours into the living room through the covered porch entryway which is open to the kitchen and dining room. The master bedroom features a large walk in closet and bathroom. The Entryway porch leads you into the log home with the mechanical and laundry room, past the bathroom and into the living room area. The loft has two full dormers in each bedroom, creating a lot of living space. There is a full bathroom between the two bedrooms. The lofted sitting room is 13 ft by 10 feet, perfect for an office, play area or for a quiet reading area. The unfinished basement with have a bathroom and kitchen area roughed in.  Construction began August 15, 2022. Completed on  October 1, 2022.  Reassembled December 14, 2022.

 

This handcrafted custom log cabin, Bare Pause, will provide the home owners’ an oasis of peace and restoration. The best views of Leech Lake can be enjoyed when creating dinner and eating with family and friends; relaxing next to the crackling wood burning fireplace or in the loft. This beautiful log home is 32 sq. feet by 42 sq. feet with 1,344 sq. ft. on the main floor. The 14 ft x 26 ft deck facing the lake will be the place to hear the morning loon calls and plan the adventures of the day on. The covered porch south facing entry way boosts a log truss and leads you into the great room, dining and open kitchen area with large seating counter. A 15 x 21 screening in porch area is off the east side of the home through the dining area and covered porch entryway. Early mornings will take in the sunrise, while insect free Minnesota nights will be enjoyed and welcomed haven. An interior log wall separates the open living area to a bar area and powder room. The Master bedroom with walk in closet and master bathroom are to the side and behind the bar. The stairway leads one up to the lofted sitting area to take in beautiful sunsets. The loft has a large bedroom with full bathroom and ample closets and storage areas. Valley logs will support the intricate roof line and show off hand peeled log beams. The gradual slope of the property provides the perfect walkout basement with bedroom, full bathroom, laundry, large utility room and family room with a fireplace. Construction started April 11, 2022. Completed on ALH site July 21, 2022.  Reassembled September 20, 2022.

 

Morning coffee will soon be enjoyed in Stony Lake Dream.  Sunshine will great the owners in their log home in the open designed great room with stone fireplace, dining room and  kitchen.  The layout of this 32′ x 42′ handcrafted home is designed so that everything one needs is on the main floor.  The covered porch leads you past the powder room and enclosed washer and dryer to the Main Bedroom or into the kitchen.  The kitchen boosts ample counter space, an extra sink and an island for four to create dinners and memories.  Off the dining room is the three season porch with it’s own heating stove to enjoy morning sunrises and evening sunsets.  There is a loft with a sitting area overlooking the great room with two dormered bedrooms and a full bath.  The lakeside of the home has a walk out basement has a large family room, bar area, large bedroom and a full bath.  The Utility room has room for storage and there is also a Shop for working on projects. Construction began January 10th, 2022 – April 8, 2022.  Reassembled June 27th, 2022.

 

Baywood Addition has long been anticipated and will provide a larger living area to the home owner’s existing handcrafted log home. The original log home was build in 1990 with the expertise of the home owner who also was the General Contractor and did a lot of finishing work to his log home. Baywood Addition will add 24.8 feet by 27 feet – for 670 square feet and will have a basement with utility room. The log addition will be the master bedroom, bathroom and entryway/foyer to the log home. The addition will be cut and keywayed into the existing log home for settling, and the roof system will be lower than the existing roof. The homeowner will do a lot of the finishing work, which he thoroughly enjoys and is very talented at. We are excited to see how it all comes together!  Construction began on June 9, 2021 and completed on ALH site on August 6th, 2021.  Reassembled July 6th, 2022.

 

Oak Narrows Point set on an island, surrounded by clear fresh water and forests filled with wildlife will be the perfect getaway for family and friends to enjoy the beauty of northern MN. The log home is 24 feet by 36 feet with 864 square feet on the main floor.  The entry way view see right through the kitchen and the great room.  There are two bedroom, large walk in closet, full bathroom, a spacious kitchen that opens into the large great room.  There will be a an interior log wall and a open loft with a walk out balcony.  The lakeside of the home will boost a large 12 foot covered porch.  The log shell will all be barged to the island this coming spring and completed over the summer. Construction began October 29, 2021 – January 8, 2022.  Reassembled on May 24, 2022.

 

Cuyuna Country nestled in the woods and over looks the lake, is the perfect place to come home to. Adventure awaits with the nearby trails and towns, after a peaceful night enjoying the crackling fire with family and friends. The size of this handcrafted log home is 26 feet by 52 feet with a total of 1,352 square feet on the main floor. One can view the lake upon entering the covered porch entryway looking out the 12 foot picture window in the Great room. The spacious kitchen / dining open into the Great room with log archway and you can take in the open roof system and beautiful king truss. The main bedroom suite with full bath and walk in closet are on the main floor, along with powder room, Laundry room, pantry and entryway closet. The walkout basement has a large family room, two bathrooms, mechanical room with ample storage and full bathroom.  Construction began on August 6, 2021  and completed onsite October 27, 2021.  Reassemble on homeowner’s site November 15, 2021.

 

The Coleman Lodge in Colorado is retreat, refuge and home. No matter where you are in this home, you can take in the spacious grandeur of Mt. Elbert. The spacious 2,359 square feet on the main floor boosts a covered porch entryway with truss, large windows and beautiful stain glass. Walking into the entryway, one enters the great room and sees out to the great outdoors. The great room is part of the open design with the kitchen and dining room. The dining room leads to the spacious covered patio and wrap-around cedar deck, which is an ideal spot to soak up the sun and bask in the charms of nature. The hand carved king truss and spectacular valley logs in the great room set off the full stone fireplace. An interior log wall separates the great room and the master bedroom suite which has a double walk in closet and full bath. The lofted area has a large sitting area, and two wings each with spacious bedrooms with pitched dormers, walk in closets and one full bath. Family and friends will enjoy spending time in the basement with its full fieldstone fireplace, full kitchen with pantry and large recreation area, two bedrooms, full bathroom and utility room. Construction onsite began on January 25, 2021 – completed on Andersen Log Homes Site June 1, 2021.  Reassembled September 25, 2021.

 

The GARAJ MAHAL – inspires awe and timeless testement to the love of all things crafted by hand. This log garage will house both vehicles, and more importantly, family and friends who will keep warm by the fireplace in the lofted bunk room. The fluid incorporation of stonework, stone piers, and massive logs bring together the crafts of European, Canadian and American styles. The Garaj Mahal’s main floor has 1,106 square feet and has two interior partial log walls; a loft floor joist system; and is accented with log gabled ends in the roof. The log shell portion sits upon 5′ of captivating stonework. It will have two garage doors that are 16′ wide and the 9’wide. A cedar stairway on the northside of the garage has a large balcony that leads into the loft and is complemented by cedar shake siding. The roof 11 x 12 pitch of the roof system opens up the lofted living space so it may be utilized to it’s fullest. Other attractions nearby include both a handcrafted Andersen Log Homes log cabin and a handcrafted log out building nestled in the NW part of Wisconsin on the Chippewa Flowage. We are honored to build for this family, and we hope they continue to enjoy the great outdoors and create new memories in the Garaj Mahal.  Construction began June 3, 2021. Completed on homeowner’s site July 27, 2021

 

The covered log entryway warmly welcomes you into Eagle Landing.  The inviting open floor plan with a total of 1,712 square feet on the main floor, allows one to move seamlessly through the home, while enjoying the beautiful lake view. This handcrafted log home is perfectly planned to age in place, from the landscape to the layout of their home. Cozy nights are ahead in the great room with its fireplace and furniture placement. The spacious master bedroom suite has a large walk in closet, full bathroom, plus patio doors to the deck to enjoy morning coffee with the tranquil sight and sounds of the birds and lake. Interior log walls separate the bedroom wings from the greatroom. The second bedroom on the main floor shares the full bathroom with guests, separated by pocket doors, and has the french doors providing the spectacular like the masterbedroom suite. The washer / dryer are on the mainfloor. The beautiful stairway leads up to the open loft. The roof system has a 12′ x 12′ pitch, which provides lots of head room, and opens up the whole home and provides spaciousness. The 24′ x 14′ mechanical room is in the basement that has 80″ tall head space. The rest of the basement has crawl space of 48″ – providing a lot of storage area. The homeowner’s are looking forward to lakelife year round and enjoying their log home. Construction began October 29, 2020. Completed onsite January 22, 2021

 

The homeowner’s of the Eagles Lair will soon be the gathering together in their beautiful log home. The homeowner is also the General Contractor, and has a created a well designed floor plan, utilizing the space well. This home is 24 sq. feet by 36 sq. feet with 864 square feet on the main floor. The main floor’s open floor plan design allows a cozy dining area off the kitchen and take in the morning sites and sounds of the woods and lakes outside. Upon entering the home, the fire place will provide warmth and serve as a focal point in the living area. The main floor plan has the Master Bedroom with a large walk in closet, full bathroom, kitchen with dining area, and great room. There will be a loft and a walkout basement. Off the covered porch entryway is an eight ft. by 36 ft. deck. This space will be fully enjoyed taking in spectacular Minnesota sunrises and sunsets.  Construction began August 16, 2020 with the log shell completed October 28, 2020.

 

The Squirrel’s Nest is the ideal cabin for family and overnight guests. The cabin is 14 sq. feet by 18 sq. feet, with a total of 252 sq. feet. This cozy cabin will have a wood stove to keep guests warm during the cold MN nights. Star gazing will be a must out on the 6 ft. X 12 ft. patio. The wall height will be ten feet high, allowing extra room in the loft. The gable ends will have custom glass windows to provide a lot of natural lighting. Log shell started 7/17/20. Completed on ALH site 8/15/20.  Reassembled September 28, 2020

 

The Showroom of Lifetime Staining and Painting will soon be re-assembled in Longville, MN. The size of Lifetime Staining and Painting is 28 feet by 32 feet with a total of 896 square feet. The Showroom has a large covered porch for the entryway with log accents. Inside the spacious showroom there is a large display area for you to check out all the products they carry with along with pre-stained samples. There is a large office, restroom, a kitchenette for the staff and mechanical room. We are excited for the owner’s to be moved into and working out of their new Showroom. Log shell started 6/14/20 and completed on ALH site 7/17/20.

 

Larson’s Log Home: This spacious log home will be a favorite place for family and friends to gather inside and out. This home is built on a heated slab foundation, providing even heating throughout the whole home.The foundation is 28 sq. ft. by 59 sq. feet, with an outside kitchen and gathering area and log living area. The main floor is 28′ by 42′, with a total of 1,176 square feet, has an open floor plan with the large Kitchen, Dining area and Great room with a beautiful fireplace. The master bedroom with a deep walk in closet is on the main floor along with a full bathroom. The West-end of the home leads to the covered outside kitchen area that is 18′ x 28′ with full stove, sink, cabinetry and an outdoor fireplace. There is a half bathroom that is accessible from the outside of the home. The second floor of the home, with a total of 1,680 square feet, is fully lofted with four bedrooms with 9′ dormers in the roof system allowing more space and natural sunlight into each room. There is a full bathroom, mechanical room and large family room with a 12′ dormer. On the East-end of the log home, the two bedrooms each have sliding doors going out to balcony. Log shell started 5/4/20 and completed on ALH site 6/14/20.

 

Kinney Log Home – This log home will nestled among the pines on a northern MN lake. This log home will bring all generations of the Kinney family together to celebrate the many seasons of life together. The footprint of this home is 26′ x 38′ with 988 square feet on the main floor. The covered porch entryway invites you in to the kitchen, which is open to the dining area and great room. The master bedroom and full bathroom are on the main floor. The spacious loft has a shed dormer and low storage. The stone covered walk out basement will have a large family room, bedroom, full bathroom, utility room with laundry; a storage closet and a large open storage area. The foundation was set up on site in November, with peeling of the logs starting the second week of March. Log shell started on March 16, 2020 – Reassembled on May 12, 2020.

Chokecherry Hill is nestled in the pines and lakes of Northern MN. The morning sun will stream through their custom made glass gable windows to greet the Home Owners in their open floor designed log home. The great room with corner fireplace is open to the dining area and spacious kitchen. The south facing deck off the great room is 10′ x 19′ and a great gathering place. The master bedroom suite with large walk in closet is on the main floor along with a half bathroom and a separate laundry room. The great room leads up to the open lofted area family room with framed in storage areas. The walk out basement will have two bedrooms; a full bathroom with claw tub and separate shower; mechanical room and a large Recreational room. A screened in porch off the walk out basement will be ideal for MN summer nights to enjoy the sounds of nature and keep out the MN state bird, the mosquito!  Log shell started on ALH site 12/27/20.  Reassembled March 12, 2020.

Hagedorn’s Log Home: Hagedorn’s started dreaming of their log home many years ago, and are creating their dream home. This home has 2,216 square feet on the main floor with a the owner’s suite, open entry way with full bathroom and laundry room. The Entryway opens to the Great Room with it’s stone fireplace and lake view. The open floor layout allows easy entertaining with it’s spacious Kitchen and Dining. The loft has two bedrooms and valley logs support system. The walkout basement boasts a bedroom suite, an office/den, family room, storage, laundry and mechanical room. Memories are being made by the home owner’s clearing their land, pouring the footings and foundation and building most of their home themselves. They are very talented, and looking forward to spending time with family and friends in the northern woods.  Log shell started on August 15, 2019. Reassembled December 18, 2019

Sweet Addition: This 30 foot by 40 foot log addition will be attached to the existing home and attached garage with a framed breezeway. The log addition’s roof line has a 10/12 pitch, making it taller that the existing home’s roof line. The owner’s master bedroom suite has a full bath and spacious walk in closet.  The master bedroom will take in light through the french doors and have a nice sitting area on the full length deck which is covered by a shed roof. The main floor log addition has a large quilting room and living room that is attached to the breezeway and opens up the living area with existing fireplace as a focal point. There will be plenty of room for family and friends to gather and visit. The loft has two bedrooms with dormers, a full bath, a large gathering area, a sitting area for quite reading and ample storage.  Log Shell started on ALH site on April 2, 2019.  Reassembled on Home Owner’s site September 18th, 2019.

Lakeside Cabin: Listening to the cry of the Loon, serene sunrises and blazing sunsets are soon in order for the homeowner’s of Lakeside Cabin. The footprint is roughly 36 square feet by 36 square feet, with a jog in of three feet for the entryway – and has 1,250 total square feet. Coming in from the entryway, the spacious main floor opens into the great room with fireplace, dining area, kitchen and front porch sitting area. There are two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The utility room is in the basement/crawl space area. There is an interior log wall and open vaulted roof system with two roof logs and tie logs. Log shell started June 7th, 2019.  Reassembled the week of August 27th, 2019.

Stornoway Lodge: The home owner’s asked Jon, “What have you always wanted to build if you could have creative control?” Jon replied, “To handcraft a log home with massive logs!” We are going to see both the home owner’s vision and Jon’s dream begin! The home owners are both conservationists and artists, and are excited to create this truly, custom  log cabin. The logs will average a 24″ mid-span, and some logs will be 40″ in diameter! The home owner’s of Stornoway Lodge agreed to take their final plan and add two feet each way to compensate for the size of logs. The logs were found and harvested last January in 2018.

The dimensions of the main floor are 38′ x 52′, with 1,976 square feet. Walking through covered Entryway, your eyes will take in the bedroom, laundry room and full bathroom, with the focal point of seeing through the great room’s twelve foot french door picture window taking in the lake view and nature. The kitchen with it’s island is open to dining and great room. Family and friends will gather here to visit and take in the wood burning stone fireplace on the chilly MN evenings. The screened porch off the dining room will be a summer’s eve favorite to watch the sun set and play games and keep mosquitoes away.

The loft has two full dormers for the master bedroom with walk in closet and private balcony. There is a second bedroom, full bathroom and a large living area overlooking the great room. The fully finished basement has two bedrooms, full bath, utility room, spacious storage area and family room.  Log shell started on ALH site January 9, 2019 and Reassembled on Home Owner’s site March 29, 2019.

White Pine RetreatThe best place to be is right at home in the pines. The spacious Greatroom has a full field stone fireplace with double patio doors. The Greatroom, Kitchen and Dining area have the perfect view out to their pond and is the perfect gathering area for family and friends. The main floor square footage is 34′ x 48′ with an attached 26′ x 37′ log garage. The main floor has a large bedroom with a full bathroom and leads to the mudroom and out to the garage. The lofted master bedroom has two walk in closets and full master bathroom with soaking tub and shower. The basement boosts a large family room with a built in billiard cabinet and kitchen/entertainment area, a stone fireplace, two bedrooms, full bath, a utility room and storage closets. Log shell started August 13, 2018 and reassembled on home owner’s property on January 21, 2019.

Maple Refuge: This 30 sq. ft. by 34 sq. ft. log cabin will be the home owner’s refuge from the busy world to restore peace and serenity with nature. The main floor Master bedroom, guest bedroom, full bath and a spacious open floor plan with the kitchen, dining and great room. Maple Refuge takes advantage of natural light both inside the home and on the roomy deck with a screened in porch area.  Log Shell started on ALH site on January 25th, 2018 – Completed on ALH site March 28th, 2018 -reassemble on homeowner’s site.

Hoxsey’s Log Home: Looking over the lake and taking in the evening sunset will soon be part of the Hoxey’s evening at their handcrafted log cabin. The size of this log home is 26 square feet by 32 square feet, with 832 total square feet on the main floor. The main floor has the master bedroom with walk in closet, full bathroom, kitchen, dining and great room with fireplace. The loft has a large sitting area, bedroom with dormer,bathroom and custom storage area. The basement will house the mechanical room and ample storage area. Log Shell started on ALH site on March 30, 2018.  Reassembled on August 20th, 2018

Copley’s Cove:  This beautiful log home will be overlooking a quiet little cove, frequented by wildlife, where the call of the loons can be heard. The layout of this home takes advantage of the sunrise and sunset, which can be enjoyed from all areas of their home.  The home is 1,540 total square feet, a 24′ x 38′ main living area with an 30′ x 18′ master bedroom wing. The main floor incorporates the great room with a gorgeous view and stone fireplace, a large open kitchen and dining area, foyer with bathroom and the master bedroom.  A lot of thought and planning has gone into the design, the kitchen will have an extra large island (instead of a counter) with the sink placed so the lake will be in view, even while doing the dishes.  Off of the kitchen is a half bathroom and a framed breezeway with the laundry area, which is attached to the double garage.  There is ample room with the full walkout basement that takes in the stunning view.  Once the home is completed they will soon have a patio with a hot tub to enjoy both the sunrise and sunset.  Started log shell on May 18, 2018.  Reassembled on July 23rd, 2018.

Larry’s Place: Relaxing in the great room, with the glow from the crackling real stone fireplace, will soon be one of Larry’s favorite places to relax in his handcrafted log home. The open main floor plan has the Kitchen, Dining and Great room flow together, with an interior log wall to separate the master suite and bathroom. This log home is 35′ 6″ x 31′ with a total of 1,103 sq. ft. on the main floor. The loft, with one dormer, has two bedrooms, a full bath and a deck overlooking the wooded acreage.  Log shell started on ALH site on August 28, 2017.

Lake Donna:  With great expectations, the building of Lake Donna has begun!  This log home is 26′ x 40′ with a total of 1,040 square feet on the main floor.  The master bedroom suite is in the loft has two dormers that boosts a walk in closet with full bathroom and an office and reading area that overlooks the greatroom.  The 10′ x 24′ covered porch is the  main entry way opening into the dining and great room. The spacious open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and great room will make entertaining inviting and comfortable.  There is bedroom, full bathroom and mudroom that connects to the future garage. The by home is built on a heated slab and has a large mechanical room. Log shell started October 12, 2017. Re-assembled December 18 – 19, 2018.

Pinefall:  The home owner’s of Pinefall have been dreaming of moment they can live in and enjoy their new handcrafted log home.  Beautiful white pine logs will be intricately crafted throughout the main floor, and roof system.  The welcoming deck takes you into the foyer and leads you to the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining, the great room. The master bedroom suite will be a place of relaxation with a Jacuzzi tub, full bathroom and walk in closet.  The spacious walk out basement will have a large recreation room, exercise room, office, bedroom, full bathroom and mechanical/storage room.  An attached garage is connected to the laundry / mud room and enters into the log home’s half bathroom and foyer.  The colors of the fall will be enjoyed on the deck and in the four season porch off the great room. Completed on ALH site September 10, 2017.  Reassembled December 11th, 2018.

The Hideaway has been a dream for a long time, and now it is coming true. The foundation and walk out basement for this log home was put in two years ago, and this summer, the log shell will be set, and the final construction will begin. The Hideaway foot print is 26′ x 36′ for a total of 936 square feet on the main floor. The main floor has the master bedroom and bath, and it’s open kitchen, dining and great room with corner stone fireplace will make entertaining enjoyable, with a breathtaking view out the gable end.  A log stairway leads up the loft with living area, bathroom and porch off the gabled end.  The walk out is fully finished with stone siding.  The total square feet of the home is 2,288. Log shell construction started on May 3rd, 2017 and Reassembled on July 27th, 2017.

The Tilbergs: Relaxing on the deck, listening to the wildlife or enjoying dinner over looking the lake will be soon be part of the Tilberg’s day after their handcrafted log home is completed. The main level has 3,046 square feet.  The entryway/foyer which opens to the office, bathroom and into the great room with a built in floor fish tank. The open kitchen floor plan is connected to the dining room and greatroom with a fireplace. The master bedroom suite has a walk in closet and bathroom. The loft, with 1,553 square feet, has two dormered bedrooms which extends over the greatroom with a catwalk leading to the den, ample storage closet and full bathroom. The finished basement (2,382 finished squae feet) will be a favorite place to spend time with family and friends which boosts a large family room, billiard room, wet bar, along with two bedrooms, full bathroom and a half bathroom. The home will have an double attached garage that is attached to the log home with a breezeway, with laundry and half bath, which enters into the kitchen. The log shell construction started on February 27th, 2017

Detroit Lakes:  Nestled in the land of 10,000 lakes this log home has 1,650 square feet of living space on the main floor, Loft with living space and has an attached 985 square foot log garage.  The log shell construction began on November 16, 2016 – Reassemble February 20, 2016

Camp Eversoto:  A dream coming true – this 26′ x 30′ cabin (780 square feet) will be the perfect get away to relax in take in the great outdoors.   The bedroom and full bathroom are on the main floor which leads to the  open kitchen – dining – great room area with corner fireplace.  The porch leads up to the entry way and there is a screened porch section opening to the living area.  The East patio entrance will be greeted by the morning sun, welcoming a new day. Maple Lodge: This log home has 1,624 square feet on the main floor, that is “L” shaped, with a full loft with a large dormer, walk out basement and an attached two stall garage.  The kitchen, great room and dining room are roomy and cozy  that lead out to a large deck.  The Master bedroom suite has a large walk through closet which goes into the master bath. The loft has a full bathroom and living area which over looks the great room with it’s fireplace. Reassembled November 1, 2016

Cross River:  Located on the North Shore of Lake Superior, this 24 x 28 square foot log addition will be a natural fit in it’s surroundings. The total square feet of the existing cabin and new log structure will be 1,137.  The restored family cabin will have two bedrooms, full bathroom, stack able washer and dryer and a sitting area that looks out over the lake.  The sitting area ties into the new structure’s open living room, dining room and kitchen.   The basement will have a large mechanical / storage area, rec room and room.  Foundation set May, 2016  – Reassembled July 18, 2016

Headwater’s Hideaway:  This 26′ x 36′ foot cabin will be enjoyed in the beautiful north woods of MN near the birthplace of the mighty Mississippi.  A dream in the making that started out as a sketch on paper will begin being built this winter on ALH site, and finished this summer on the home owner’s site.  The entryway will have a king truss, leading you into the open Great Room, dining and kitchen areas.  The main floor will have the master bedroom, bathroom and mudroom. The loft will be a family room and sleeping area for family and guests.  Logs procured January, 2016 – Reassembled September, 2016

Looner Landing: The cry of the Loon will be heard clearly on the deck of Loonar Landing!  The foot print of this cabin is “L” shaped with a 28′ x 42′ and a 16.6′ x 17′ sunroom.  The covered porch entryway brings you into the open kitchen and Great room, and to your left are two bedrooms and full bathroom.  The attached log sunroom is connected to the Great Room on the main floor.  The loft overlooks the great room and boasts a master bedroom, walk in closet and full bathroom with a spacious sitting room and built in window seat, perfect for moon gazing.  The basement will have a full bathroom and large living area.  Foundation set in January, 2016 and first course log cut on March 14, 2016 – Reassembled June, 2016

Naughty Pine Lodge:  This log home has been in the making for over 85 years.  The homeowner’s harvested the Red Pine logs from their property this winter that will be used to build their custom home.  On the main floor (1.548 sq. ft.) the  Master Bedroom suite is separated from the Great Room, kitchen and dining area with an interior log wall.  A partial  interior log wall separates a second bedroom with  a hallway which leads to a bathroom and laundry room.  The loft  has a bedroom and a living area open to the view the great room and the valley logs.   The walk out basement will have two bedrooms, sauna, full bathroom, utility room and a wood stove in the family room.  Logs procured from owner’s property in March, 2015.   Building process started on 1/20/15 on ALH jobsite – Reassembled June 13, 2016

“Desire’s of the Heart” (Ps. 37: 3-4):  This couple has created the perfect living space with their 30′ x 48′ log addition.  The addition will have 10′ high walls with the great room looking out a prowed front with a great view.  On the main floor there is the Master Bedroom with walk in closet and whirlpool tub and walk in closet.  The home will be lofted with a dormer and the roof system incorporates beautiful log valleys.  The walk out basement has two bedrooms and a family room. Building process started on ALH in September, 2015 – Reassembled December,2015

Sue’s Studio – This cozy 14′ x 18′ studio will soon be Sue’s  place to create her artwork.  The log studio will have a 4′ deck and a cozy loft.  Projects can now be left out and undisturbed until she can get back to them. Building process started on ALH jobsite in November, 2016 – Reassemble July, 2016

Too Many Kids – A new log home addition is underway for this growing family.  The Master Bedroom with a full bath and walk-in closet will be attached with a breezeway (and soon to be laundry room) to their existing log home.  A spiral staircase in the Master bedroom leads up to the loft, where they will see close up the log valley work in the roof design.   The new addition also includes a full basement with three new bedrooms and full bathroom.  Building process started on ALH jobsite in July 2015 – Reassembled September 2015

 Micek’s Family Cabin –  This family retreat is 30 sq. feet by 46 sq. feet (1,380 total square feet on the main floor) that has a lofted floor joist system with 16″ mid-span logs.  Building process started on ALH jobsite in June 2015 – Reassembled August 2015

Coming Home To Country –  This home has 1,742 square feet on the main floor, loft, finished walk out basement and will be attached by a  breezeway to the garage.  The covered porch entryway draws you into the greatroom, dining and kitchen areas.  An interior log wall separates the greatroom and master bedroom and bathroom.   The loft has a dormer, which  provides ample space for the bedroom and bathroom.  There will be a large living area in the loft where one will be able to take in the view and enjoy seeing the log valley work in the roof system.   Building process started on ALH jobsite in Jan. 2015 – Reassembled on home owner’s site June 14, 2015.

The Bear Paw –  This log home, built with white pine, is 30 ft. by 44 ft.  square feet with a total of 1, 320 sq. feet on the main floor.  The home will have a lofted area that is 30 ft. x 26 ft that will accommodate two bedrooms and a full bath.  The log shell has a shed style dormer and also a front entrance with a covered porch with log posts.  Building process begins on ALH site  Oct. 2014   —  Reassembled on  home owner’s site June, 2015.
