White Pine RetreatThe best place to be is home in the pines. The spacious Greatroom has a full field stone fireplace with double patio doors. The Greatroom, Kitchen and Dining area overlook thier future pond. The kitchen – great room is the homeowner’s favorite place to be, and is the perfect gathering area for family and friends. The main floor square footage is 34′ x 48′ with an attached 26′ x 37′ log garage. You walk through the log archway to the main floor’s large guest room with a full bathroom. The garage entryway enters into laundry / mudroom  which has a half bath. The lofted master bedroom has two walk in closets and full master bathroom with soaking tub and walk in tiled shower. The basement boosts a large family room with a built in billiard cabinet and kitchen/entertainment area, a stone fireplace, two bedrooms, full bath, a utility room and storage closets.  Construction started August 13, 2018 and Reassembled on home owner’s site on January 21, 2019.

Timber Bay

Timber Bay’s handcrafted main lodge has about 4,000 square feet on the main floor. The entryway brings you into the 32′ x 62′ Greatroom / Meeting room looks out at the lake and comfortably seats 80-100 people for for meetings or used for small groups to meet and relax. There is a meeting room, offices and three large bathrooms. The lower walk out level has a state of the art kitchen and dining room. The loft has two sections used as game rooms, lounging areas and perfect for small group meetings.

PETERSON LOG HOME – Peterson’s log home, guest house and garage are nestled on a private lake in northern Minnesota where the sunsets spectacular and the fishing is good. Peterson’s dream home is 1,856 square feet on the main floor, with a 3/4 loft and fully finished basement and a 26′ x 32′ attached log garage. The homeowner did a lot of the work himself, from design, landscaping, and helping finish his handcrafted log home. Peterson created his dream home which is rustic, yet has all the modern day amenities. His handiwork and vision are seen in the details – he designed the railings throughout his home, and in the loft they depict all four seasons of the year. The driveway is stamped and pigmented concrete with natural elements from his yard. He hand sanded all of the logs and edges to a smooth finish. The guest house is 26′ x 36′ with a full field stone fireplace and sand beach. The unattached log garage (24′ x 32′) is conventionally framed with hand peeled log slabs on the exterior with a king truss which compliments the log home.

This “L” shaped log home has 1,660 square feet on the main floor. The roof system has valley logs along with eight purlins and two ridgepoles, and the home has one interior log wall. On the main floor is the entryway, greatroom, office, kitchen, dining room, four season porch and a separate side entry/breezeway and bathroom. Loft: Master bedroom, library and bathroom. Basement: Wet bar and living area along with two bedrooms, bathroom, and utility room.

Kamp Ketchumwali

Kamp Ketchumwali: The backdrop of whispering pines, and the call of the loons provide tranquil living at Kamp Ketchumwai. Taking full use of the land, the walk out basement provides extra living space for this 30 foot by 64 foot log home. The Master bedroom and bathroom are divided by duo entryways / foyers that draw ones eye up to the loft and through the archway into the open greatroom. Entertaining is seamless in this open greatroom with stunning fireplace, kitchen and dining area. The lofted bedroom with it’s full bathroom has double shed roof dormers, allowing office and living space. The unfinished basement has unlimited potential, which houses storage area, mechanical room and full bathroom.

Holiday Inn

Holiday Inn: With Christmas being their favorite season, this log home is officially named the “Holiday Inn”! Beautifully deacorated for the season, this 30 foot by 40 foot log addition is attached to thier original log cabin and is now thier year ’round home. The original cabin is attached to the log home with a breezeway and the loft deck is attached to the original deck. Throughout the main floor’s kitchen and the walk out basement’s kitchenette you will see hand crafted milled cabinetry, chairs, swinging bar doors created by Millu Tre Creations. The master bedroom is connected to the bathroom that has a whirlpool tub and standing shower, which is also connected to the hallway behind the kitchen. The lofted bedroom is a spacious with a sitting area, full bathroom, custom walk-in closet and deck.

The Treehouse

The Treehouse, built in 1998, is a labor of love for the home owner’s.  Tom and Ginny lived in their garage while their log home was constructed and finished.  Since the home has been finished, Tom has crafted field stone their two fireplaces, the walk out basement and garage, along with designing and building the landscaping which includes a pump and a  bubbling brook that flows under their entryway. The main floor of their log homes has 1,400 sq. ft, built with white pine which encompassed the Great Room with Fireplace, Kitchen, Dining with w/o deck, laundry room and half bath.  The intricate stairway leads one to the lofted Master bedroom,  full bathroom  and fireplace.  They have a fully finished w/o basement  with field stone fireplace and leads to the cottage by the lake.

Farm Island Lake Retreat

Farm Island Lake Retreat:  Enjoying the great outdoors is easy in this 30 ft. x 38 ft. log cabin with 3/4 lofted second floor.  The family enjoys sunrises and sunsets on their spacious deck and from the main floor and lofted views.  The main floor has a master bedroom; master bath; office; mechanical room; kitchen; dining and greatroom with a fireplace.  The loft has a large bedroom, full bathroom and family room overlooking the greatroom.  Reassembled on homeowner’s site in March, 2015.

Muskie Lodge

When you walk into the Muskie Lodge, which is about 1,994 square feet on the main floor, you will be greeted by bears near the kitchen island. The bears are carved into a post that is in the open greatroom, kitchen and dining areas. The master bedroom walks out onto the wrap around porch and the main floor also has a second bedroom, full bath and laundry room. The sitting room in the loft overlooks the intrinsic roof system with valley logs, and there is bedroom with a full bathroom. Reassembled on home owner’s site on February 2, 2015.
